BUD POWELL TRIO - Bud Powell aka The Amazing Bud Powell
Roost (Royal Roost ) #RLP-412. Vintage 10" record album (mono, of course). Burt Goldblatt cover art. With Art Taylor and George Duvivier.
RECORD: VG+. Conservative grading (visual) due to minor surface marks. Plays VG++ at lesat. One side has a small slight 'peak' toward the middle of the tracks but no corresponding 'valley' on the other side, apparently just a pressing anomaly and not a minor warp. Looking across the record, there's absolutely no warp evident.
LABELS: Near Mint. Deep groove.
COVER: VG++. Front cover image displays beautifully (almost no ringwear to speak of). Mild fading near the top edge (left). Spine is good with only one small split at top edge (partial; one inch of separation). Bottom seam is good. Top seam has some wear, and one split (one to 1/5 inches back from opening). Back cover is exceptionally clean, very minor fading only. Super condition for a 59-year old piece!
SHIPPING: Since it's lighter than a regular LP this will probably ship cheaper. Media Mail may be a bit less, but Priority and all Foreign rates should be significantly less. I won't know until I pack & ship it, so I'll invoice you at the regular LP rate and refund afterward if there's a significant overcharge.
Due to recent losses I will NOT ship this item to Italy or France without adding Registered Mail (this delays package significantly but gets a tracking number, so it can't be lost); the additional cost is $11. If you live in Italy or France, wait for my invoice before paying; payments without this will be cancelled and you will have to wait for the updated invoice. Sorry, but - fix your Postal system!
