Title:   “Cooking the Blues”

Label:   VERVE.  Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl.  Label is black with silver text, with deep groove and “trumpet player” logo.  Catalog number is MG V-8221.

Buddy De Franco – clarinet

Tal Farlow – guitar

Sonny Clarke – piano and organ

Gene Wright – bass

Bobby White – drums.

Condition:   

DISC:  NEAR MINT with full original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Has been played a very small number of times, likely once or twice at most, and handled with utmost care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean.  This scarce, excellent LP is one that you will never need to upgrade.      

JACKET:  Jacket is overall very nice with minor signs of wear and handling on the non-laminated panels.  Both front and reverse display minor but noticeable surface wear.  Top seam appears to have been split at one time, but neatly repaired by original owner.  There is also some minor wear along bottom seam and spine.  Otherwise clean with no writing or stickers.
