Description
For sale is BUDDY DeFRANCO's "Pretty Moods," on NORGRAN Records MG N-16, 10-inch, 1954. With Bobby White, Sonny Clark and Gene Wright.
SOUND: VG+/NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Very clean and clear overall, with just one or two brief appearances of light crackle or tics-- very minor. Overall the playback is remarkably good!
VINYL: VG+ or better The vinyl is beautiful for this 68 year-old record. There are a couple of very faint stylus marks on side A. These look completely superficial. Side B is stunning, I'd grade it NM on its own. The deep-grooved Norgren "trumpeter" labels are bright and clean.
JACKET: VG+ or better Edges and spine are solid all-around, in nice condition. Front and back are clean and unmarked. Very nice!

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
