THIS EP IS BY 'BUDDY HOLLY AND THE CRICKETS' AND IS CALLED 'IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE' AND WAS RELEASED HERE IN AUSTRALIA ON THE 23RD MARCH 1961 ON THE SOLID CENTRE ALL RED CORAL LABEL CX-10057.
THIS IS THE SECOND CATALOGUEING OF THIS EP AS IT ORIGINALLY CAME OUT AS CX-5329 WHICH IS SO SO HARD TO FIND.
IN 1961 FESTIVAL RECORDS HERE IN AUSTRALIA DECIDED TO CHANGE THEIR CATALOGUE NUMBER FROM A FOUR DIGIT TO A FIVE DIGIT. THUS:
CX-5310 BECAME CX-10272
CX-5321 BECAME CX-10278
CX-5329 BECAME CX-10057 AND
CX-5330 BECAME CX-10285
THE TRACKS ARE:
'IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE, FOOLS PARADISE, PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED AND THAT'LL BE THE DAY'
THE LABELS ARE CLEAN BUT HAVE SLIGHT SPINDLE MARKS..
THE SLEEVE IS IN VG++ CONDITON AND IS LAMINATED.
THE RECORD IS IN VG- CONDITION. HAS SURFACE MARKS WHICH DO NOT AFFECT PLAY EXCEPT ON SIDE ONE TRACK ONE WHERE THERE ARE TWO CLICKS BUT IT IS ONE OF THOSE RECORDS WHICH LOOK ORDINARY BUT PLAY SO MUCH BETTER.
THE RECORD PLAYS LOUD AND EXCEPT FOR TWO CLICKS, CLEAR.

LOL
For grading purposes I play side one only of an EP or 45 (mainly the ‘A’ side) and a few tracks on side one of an LP.
I also grade records on a perceived appearance basis. I then combine them (playing and appearance) for an overall grading. I believe this to be the most effective way of grading records. Some records can look ordinary but they play well and vikky vika. If unhappy with my product in any way please contact me, Roddy Jordan by phone 02 66875339 or overseas 011 61 2 66875339 or by email: hollysbuddy1@bigpond.com or 18 Montwood Drive Lennox Head 2478 Australia and I will refund your money in full after I receive the product back.
PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE
All vinyl listed on auction has been cleaned, played and visually inspected so that you may bid with confidence. Albums (LPs) and Extended Plays (EPs) are sent with the record outside of the cover and placed in an outer plastic sleeve (to prevent ring-wear) before safely packed.
Where required, the sleeves have been cleaned with a secret formula to eradicate as much ring-wear and built up dirt as possible.
I use the English Record Collectors Magazine Guidelines for gradings as this appears to be the generally accepted term of reference with variances to + or minus. Below are grading scales.
GRADING DEFINITIONS FROM THE ENGLISH RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just about playable, but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
THERE ARE VARIANCES + OR - TO THE ABOVE ASSESSMENTS.
