This record recently sold for $395 , but was returned by the buyer who suspected this is not an authorized copy.  After looking more closely, I agree that this record was more than likely pressed after his death, perhaps as late at the 1970's.  There is no catalog listing for this version that I am aware of.  This pressing can easily be identified by the label print which does not extend to the full circle, and by etched numbers instead of stamped in the deadwax.  While I have no definite proof this is not an original, I am highly suspect.  Please bid accordingly.

Sleeve - STRONG VG+ , Still in Shrink, 3" area at top seam with split shrink and some edge wear. mild corner creasing from shrink

Vinyl - NM- , Vinyl looks unplayed with a spindle trail on side 1. Plays nice with a mild audible whoosh noticeable between some of the tracks.

Notes - His 3rd album featuring the fabulous 1956 Nashville Sessions.  Black Label with silver print, etched numbers MGG 6148T1 / MGG 6149T2.  I have seen a couple of other pressings comparable to this one sell in the $300 range.

All LP's are packed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LP's. Shipments will be safely secured with foam cushioning, a cardboard filler, and plastic wrapped to prevent movement inside box. LP always  shipped with record outside of the cover to prevent seam splitting. Only exemption is for sealed items or covers with fragile spines.  A FRAGILE sticker will be visible on outside of box. Orders are generally shipped out within 24 hours.

Grading: LP's are graded visually under a 60 watt bulb. I also test play segments of the LP including any questionable marks. All records have been cleaned.

NM   = Vinyl and sleeve should basically look like new
NM- = Just shy of NM, Examples: a mild scuff that does not affect play, a bit of spindle wear, very mild shelf wear.
EX    = May also be listed as VG++. An exceptional record or sleeve with very light play or very light shelf wear. 
VG+ = Used but not abused ! Vinyl may have light marks but still a nice player, Sleeves will have normal shelf wear.
VG    = Vinyl will have more defined flaws such as scratches and background noise.  Music will overpower noise except for possible softer passages.  Sleeves may have more moderate flaws such as ring wear , edge wear, creasing, seam splitting,  but still should be decent.
VG-  =  Slightly more obvious wear than VG G+ or G   =  Vinyl and sleeves will have moderate to heavy wear. Examples : significant surface wear or scratches to vinyl,  water wear, rips and substantial creasing on sleeves. Background noise may be as loud as music, and sometimes they will play better than they look.  I always listen and notate. Any skips will also be notated.
Fair or Poor  = Reserved for rare records that are unplayable or very heavily damaged
