Description

BUDDY HOLLY That'll Be The Day b/w Rock Around With Ollie Vee Original Decca Mexican Pressing 1958

You're bidding on a Rare Mexican 1st Pressing 45 of the BUDDY HOLLY songs: That'll Be The Day b/w Rock
Around With Ollie Vee issued by Decca Records of Mexico in April, 1958. This is not the Hit version that was
produced by Norman Petty and issued as The Crickets on Brunswick Records in 1957 but Buddy's 1st version
cut in 1956, produced by Owen Bradley and issued after The Crickets version became a hit. Both the A and B
Side labels incorrectly spell Buddy's last name. Side 1 is listed as Buddy "Holy" and the Three Tunes  and Side 2
is credited to Buddy "Holy" which makes this a unique pressing. The Record is in VG++ condition with light
surface scratches which are Not audible but does have a little light groove wear distortion that's barely noticeable.
If you're a serious BUDDY HOLLY collector, you will love this very rare Mexican 1st Pressing 45.
