This is the ULTRA RARE and rarely sold
YELLOW LABEL PROMO copy with
“Sample Copy - Not For Sale” on the label.
 it is also the extra rare first pressing with the “textured“ label.
Only a handful of copies of this holy grail LP are recorded in the online sales history (feel free to search for yourself). I have only seen this one copy in over 40 years of collecting Buddy Holly.
 like most of the other copies of this reality that has surfaced, this one has a lot of wear on the cover and the record… You can see the condition in the photos here… But there is tape and split seams in certain areas on the cover along with general wear and writing in one spot on the back cover and also on the front… The record has a lot of scuff and scratches. I have tried to take as many pictures as possible to document the condition.. Selling it AS IS …  this is something you buy as a rear piece of music memorabilia rather than as a record to play…
 if you collect Buddy Holly, this is hands-down one of the rarest pieces you can find, and you probably won’t see one for sale again anytime soon… So this is a great opportunity for the right Buddy Holly Collector.
