Description

PLEASE NOTE: 78 RPM RECORDS ARE VERY FRAGILE!  THEY MUST BE PACKED AND SHIPPED WITH GREATER CARE THAN LPs OR 45s. I TAKE GREAT CARE IN PACKING AND SHIPPING 78s. THIS RECORD WILL BE SANDWICHED IN CARDBOARD, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP OR AN ALTERNATIVE, AND THEN NESTED IN STYROFOAM PEANUTS, OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, IN A LARGER BOX.

Here is a classic from the famous early Rocker, Buddy Knox, on a 78 RPM disc from Roulette Records, # R-4082. “Somebody Touched Me” was Buddy’s 4th entry to the Top Forty, right after his hit “Hula Love”. The flip side is “C’mon Baby”. 

Despite having a significant feelable scratch across 80% of the grooved surface and an extensive rub on the “C’mon Baby” side, that song plays thru with only a couple tics near the end. “Somebody Touched Me” looks much better but does have light scratches, rubs and scuffs. It also plays thru without significant problems. Both sides play Loud, Clear & Strong. I would grade it VG/VG+.
