Description

CORAL 61649 - LAWRENCE WELK presents BOB MERRILL singing "Rock N Roll Ruby" and BUDDY MERRILL singing "It May Be Silly" - This is a strange one, possibly a misprint. "Rock N Roll Ruby" is performed by BUDDY MERRILL but the label says BOB MERRILL. The 45 version correctly says BUDDY. This is a jukebox copy I've seen so I don't know if they were all mis-attributed or only for the initial, early run. This 78 has a thin piece of tape around the outer edge. This was often done for records that were in jukeboxes to give them support and help prevent cracking (see photo). It does not affect play. Also, there is a sticker on the "Rock N Roll Ruby" side. This 78 is in a CORAL company sleeve and is graded VG++.
