BUDGIE - SQUAWK

SUPER RARE AND ENTIRELY AWESOME PROGRESSIVE BRITISH METAL ALBUM FROM 1972.

LABEL: MCA (BLUE CENTERED)

GRADING:

SLEEVE: VG The good news is that the sleeve shows no major defects being that there are not splits tears or stains. The sleeve is generally a little tatty with some edge wear and ring wear although these aren’t very bad the ring wear being more the impression of the vinyl rather than true wear to the sleeve. There is some creasing to the back. There is also a small square to the front of the sleeve where the picture and laminate have lifted away probably due to the removal of a price sticker. The spine is true and clear from any major wear with the  writing being clear an legable. All in all not a bad cover

VINYL: VG+ the record shows some light scuff marks and hairlines. Only one of these is feelable being roughly 1 cm long. This generates a light repetitive click during the first 20 or so seconds of the first track. Apart from this the sound is excellent. There is occasional and light crackling but this is just that, occasional and light. There are no other loud pops or crackles and it goes without saying that there are no skips or jumps. A very listenable record.

The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
