This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - original 1971 1st UK pressing of Squawk by Budgie. Released on the original UK MCA label, catalogue MKPS 2023. 1st press matrix numbers endings 1L/1L, B1-U. The record comes in the original matt finish sleeve and the Decca blue stero poly-lined inner sleeve. Rare original UK hard prog.

Vinyl Condition:- NEAR MINT Superb condition, well looked after and not played much at all. The vinyl gleams like new and just has fine sleeve brushings and wipsy marks from sleeve storage visible when viewed at an angle under bright light. The sound quality is as good as new vinyl, outstanding. Fully test played on Rega RP3 Deck, Rega Elicit-R Amp, Rega RS5 Speakers

Sleeve Condition:- VG The front has some partial ringwear in the upper portion of the sleeve and the original owners name hand written in the top right hand conder. The back has light partial ringwear. There is no wear on the edges, some tiny wear on the corners but barely visible. The spine is crisp and fully readable.

Label Condition:- NEAR MINT. Only two light spindle marks each side, nice and clean with no wear at all

Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
