BUDGIE, from Wales, were comprised of Burke Shelley on Bass & Vocals, Tony Bourge on Guitar, and Ray Phillips on drums..... Bourge has a distinctive style that makes the recordings which include him much more memorable.
SQUAWK was the group's second album, following on the heels of their self-titled debut. The highlight is probably HOT AS A DOCKERS ARMPIT, a vicious rocker with riffs out of some Tony Iommi wet dream. The rest of the album is good heavy rock with a couple of nice (short) accoustic numbers thrown in for variety. (Shawn Sullivan - thanks)
Sleeve in good condition, spines are intact, printing still clear, usual rim-crease on cover, all clean. Disc label clean and vinyl is EX (maybe EX+). A great copy of this rare original US edition.
