Description

BUKKA WHITE "MISSISSIPPI BLUES" stereo lp on Takoma B-1001 US issue (1965??) VG+/VG+.  

I would grade this lp VG+. It plays great, but has some minimal noise that was not there when the record was new. It may also have visual marks, consistent with a well cared for, but appreciated, record that’s had a moderate amount of play. This LP still plays great and has lots of shine and is beautiful overall. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM  RESULTS RECLEAN EACH SIDE  AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE.) This is such a great recording. Recorded right after his (re-discovery) this just epitomizes the early Miss. Blues. Many of the tunes are from his legendary 40's session sometimes called the "last of the great Country Blues recordings". Takoma was a great label with good pressings and total artistic freedom. I'm not sure what year this copy is but is a 60's release I would guess.

THE JACKET; No initials. Very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG+ overall with shrink wrap still intact (not a sealed copy). Very nice.   (I will only be citing things not visible in pictures).
