BULGARIAN FOLK SINGERS & MUSICIANS Balkanton lp 1940s Uzunov Simeonova Mazarov + Shipping Info Description Rare Bulgarian folk music lp, Balkanton Records, number 0284, in lightweight sleeve, with Made in Bulgaria” on sleeve and on labels; all other label text is Bulgarian / Cyrillic text; liner notes on jacket in both Bulgarian and English; it states in part: “Listen – to symphonic, chamber, opera and operetta music. Performance of the best world-renowned Bulgarian singers and instrumentalists DIMITAR UZUNOV, NICOLAY GYIAUROV, THEODORE MAZAROV, NICOLAS NICOLAV, NEDYALKA SIMEONOVA, AVRAMOV’S QUARTETTE, the Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances under the artistic direction of the national artist PHILIP KOOTEV”. No date, but circa the 1940’s.
Condition is VG+/G+ (vinyl has some minor scuffing and a few very light scratches, and is a bit dirty; clean labels; sleeve has a long split to the spine with two 1-inch tears at spine and several smaller edge tears, small price-tag scar, peeling to one corner of back cover).
