Very rare and in phenomenal condition, up for auction is a near-mint original copy of BULL MOOSE JACKSON “Sings His All Time Hits” on the AUDIO-LAB label from 1959. 

This is the original pressing – not a reissue.  Label is blue with silver printing, with deep groove.  Monaural pressing, catalog number is AL-12-1524. 

In 1959, Syd Nathan formed Audio Lab as a subsidiary to his KING label, out of Cinncinnati, Ohio.  Over a 3 year period, Audio Lab issued a lot of material that had never appeared in album form, including this rare album by Bull Moose Jackson, as well as others by Annie Laurie, April Stevens, Sticks McGhee and John Lee Hooker, Lattie Moore, Will Penny, the Light Crust Doughboys, and H-Bomb Ferguson.

Jacket:   Jacket is extremely nice – it would grade NM except for a 3-inch seam split at top right and a 2-inch split at right bottom.  Front art work is brilliant with no traces of wear.  Reverse is clean and white, looks like new.  This is one of the finest covers (especially for a KING product) that you will ever see – it is absolutely gorgeous. 

Vinyl:  Stunningly beautiful NM disc with full brilliant gloss, appears to have been played no more than one or two times and handled with care.   There are a couple very slight slide marks from storage (not audible), no scratches or serious marks.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  I am certain the winning bidder will be very pleased.
