e © AP6.0 Bundal Baaz, from 1976, is a very interesting RD Burman score in that it seems he let it all out almost anarchistically for this LP!! Hindi style songs and sooo wildly put out maniacal Bolly-funk attempts have so seamlessly been blended it's almost criminal!! On the wild-funk tunes, it sounds like the musicians were fed on acid and let go recording on what they were told to do in the studio... the way moog is used, you can just turn these guys in to the "chief of orderly moog use"!! Moog Cookbook, eat your heart out!! They also go over a brief but very delicious take on ELP's "Hoedown"! It's really breathtaking, you gotta hear the sample moments I took from the LP! It looks like grooves jump out to shout "feed your head" when listening to this sub-continental funk dish! This is not a regular find... Both cover and disc are VG. As you can see someone crudely taped around the seams of the cover. No other defects. Disc has plenty of thin hairlines but the vinyl plays quite alright with moderate surface hiss. Hear samples!
