Hard-to-find British 1st release of the original TV soundtrack to 'Burke's Law' (1964), composed by Herschel Burke Gilbert.

The series starred Gene Barry as millionaire captain of Los Angeles Police homicide division Amos Burke, who is chauffeured around to solve crimes in his 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II. Also starring Regis Toomey, Gary Conway, Leon Lontoc, Eileen O'Neill, and Carl Benton Reid.
Priced to reflect scarcity over condition.

Herschel Burke Gilbert ?– Burke's Law (Instrumental Themes From The Original Soundtrack Recording) (1964)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: F-G. A few scuffs and marks across both sides and some fogging present as well. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is good at best. Major surface noise at run-ins and light static and clicks throughout both sides, mainly audible during quieter cues and between tracks. Bombastic cues towards end of side 2 sound brighter. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): F-G. Colours clear and unfaded. Fantastic laminated cover. Corner has mild scuffing at top but bottom left corner badly worn. Splits and creasing in from spine and one or two in from top and bottom. Couple of curved creases across front. Disc outline visible. Spine generally clean but split through some text. Top edge shows no wear but bottom edge has tear near left corner. Aperture soiled and mildly worn. Back of sleeve flipbacks present and attached but bottom one partly missing on right. Foxing and staining mainly along aperture edge and in corners but overall a nice example. Inner Sleeve: VG. Liberty picture sleeve with catalogue thumbails and square corners. One side partially split. Minor creases/folds.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
