Description
Released on Merciless records of Germany in 1998 (MR93), and recorded between 1996 and 1997, this is the first vinyl release from Burning Witch - one of the first bands to take the Doom Metal genre to the gates of hell, with their disturbing blend of hypnotic waves of dense fuzz, bowel-loosening low end, beats slower than the aging of stone and the unmistakable, strangulated, horrifically tortured and utterly unique vocals of Edgy 59 - once heard, never forgotten.
A very disturbing listen indeed.
This record was part of an ultra-limited run of only 500 copies, and is pressed on heavy 180g vinyl, for added weight!. Very sought after, incredibly rare (I saw a copy for sale online recently for 80Euros!), you will be lucky to find one of these going so cheap anywhere else - get on the case!
Record plays fine, has no scratches and is in very good condition. The sleeve is a little tatty from being in storage, but there a no splits of scratches, just a bit of an impression here and there.
