Description

I played this record using my Pioneer headphones. There is surface noise on both sides. Hear more on the first side than the second side. Tend to hear the noise when there is a quiet part of a song but sometimes at other times. Some songs I do not hear any noise at all. The excellent sounds from this Donald Byrd album can be clearly heard, anyway. Plays fine, no skipping. Now, I used a medium Audio-Technica cartridge. If you have a high end cartridge you will hear more surface noise.

Cosmetically the cover shows a ton of wear as seen in the pictures. The left side has a lot of what appears to be dirt. Also the seam is split.

The sleeve that holds the record is missing.
