I AM BACK TO LISTING LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1966 U.S. PRESS MONO COLUMBIA RECORDS WHITE LABEL PROMO LP titled 'Fifth Dimension', the third album from west coast folk / psychedelic rock pioneers The Byrds.  It is Columbia Records catalog number CL 2549, white label promo copy with an inscription to that effect on the labels - There is one additional inscription on the labels which does not appear in my accompanying image.   It appears that originally there was probably a radio station timing strip attached to the bottom of the front album cover, the timing strip was apparently either removed or fell off at some point in the past.  Tracks: 5D (Fifth Dimension), Wild Mountain Thyme, Mr. Spaceman, I See You, What's Happening?!?!, I Come And Stand At Every Door, Eight Miles High, Hey Joe (Where You Gonna Go), Captain Soul, John Riley, 2-4-2 Fox Trot (The Lear Jet Song).  Visual condition of record is conservatively a high VG or low VG+ with a fair amount of surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play.  Labels have some light spindle marks, no other real problems.  Condition of cover is also a high VG/low VG+ with a jagged white discolored area along the bottom of the front cover where the aforementioned missing radio station timing strip was apparently attached, a 1" split in the right side of the bottom edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired this split by taping from the inside), a little writing in black ballpoint on the back cover, some contact and ring wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and some wear and a little flaking along the edges and on the corners.  Cover has no tears or stickers.  This white label promo LP would be a choice addition to any Byrds or 1960s rock record collection!
