Description
Up for auction is a nice, original copy of The Byrds album "Mr. Tambourine Man" originally released in the U.S. on Columbia Records (CL 2372) in 1965.

-Early 2A/2B stampers in run-out matrix
-Mono pressing
-Still in opened factory shrink wrap
-Original paste-down cover
-No UPC/bar code on cover
Condition:
Cover is really nice, still nicely preserved in original shrink wrap. No significant signs of wear or age, just some very light rubbing on seam and corners at opening. Shrink wrap is torn in places, with a few areas missing, but still generally intact (see photos). Very nice! Grade: Excellent Plus (EX+).
Vinyl is nice, still has much of its original shine. Has light hairline scratches on both sides, but nothing deep or serious--nothing that can be felt or that would affect the quality of the playback. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play. Record looks played, but handled pretty carefully.
Play-Tested:
When played in the recommended Mono Mode, the record sounds very good, with full-bodied fidelity. Has some light pressing noise on the lead in grooves, but once the music kicks in, you really can't notice it much. Not audiophile clean, but none of these originals are. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+), better than typical VG copies.
