Description

This is a no reserve auction for the following LP vinyl record:

Artist: Babs Gonzales

Title: Tales of Manhattan - The Cool Philosophy of Babs Gonzales

Year: 1956

Cat #  Jaro - JAM 5000

Vinyl Condition: VG+

Cover Condition: VG

Comments: This is an original pressing. Vinyl is very clean and shiny for it's age. There are  hairline type sleeve swipes, but the playback is great.  This is on the very rare Jaro label. The labels look great and say "Bank Records of America" at the bottom. The cover has wear around the edges and a seam split (1.5 inch) to bottom middle. There is also a split to bottom right corner, about 2 inches long. The top seam and spine are fully intact. The writing on the spine is also visible. The cover itself looks great, without hardly any wear. The bacl cover has one small tear and some mild ring wear, but looks very good. Any further questions you may have, feel free to ask.

All records are shipped in heavy corrugated record mailers.

My $4 shipping price is for the Con. US. Only. Canadian bidders pay $8, please contact me for invoice.  All other destinations will be a flat rate of $17.

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****

I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.

M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.

NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.

VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) -  Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.

VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.

G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.

P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
