Bacao Rhythm & Steel Volume 55

description Details   The 16 instrumental songs on the Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band's debut album are an infectious and fascinating mix of original compositions and covers by Faith Evans, 50 Cent, reggae legend John Holt, Cat Stevens, Dennis Coffey and many others.

Before recording the album, the multi-instrumentalist, band leader and founder of the Mighty Mocambos from Hamburg, Björn Wagner, spent several months in Trinidad & Tobago. He was fascinated by the steel pan drums, learned the instrumental and began to use it for his already established funk, soul and hip hop sound.

The album will be released on the new label of Truth & Soul co-founder, multi-instrumentalist & producer Leon Michels (El Michels Affair, Lee Fields, Aloe Blacc, The Arcs, etc.) and the DJ and Truth & Soul manager Akalepse called Big Crown.

about us

Our founding year 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as a cool thing again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record store and of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online can be found in our store in Übersee, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Directly on the A8 motorway, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl.
We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for vinyl ...
