Johann Sebastian Bach's "6 Suites a Violoncello Solo senza basso" performed by Wolfgang Boettcher on French label Cercle Kallistos CK 1005. This 3-record limited edition audiophile pressing box set was issued in 1989, a year after the same company issued the Goldberg Variations by Michel Kiener, a record which has the reputation of being one of the finest harpsichord recordings ever made. This set was found at a record store in Berlin, Germany, where the owner said that he purchased it recently from famed German film director Wim Wenders, so it has a bit of anecdotal history attached! This record is literally like new in sealed plastic wrapping, mint condition in the strictest record grading sense of the words. There are no dents or marks whatsoever on the outer cover, nor any bunged corners etc.: as new. Any appearances of imperfections in the photographs are merely distortions caused by the plastic wrapping. A rare opportunity to own one of the most sought after audiophile pressings of the Bach Cello Suites in brand new condition over 25 years after its release.
The record box set will be wrapped in bubble wrap, boxed in a standard LP box, and placed into a second box with styrofoam sheets around it for extra protection.
