Bach Partitas 1, 2, & 3 Kremer Melodiya C 10 06867-68
Gidon Kremer plays the Bach “Partitas” 1, 2 and 3. A Russian stereo pressing on the Melodiya Label (C 10 06867-68), the record is of immaculate appearance, and the cover is excellent.
This record is one of a collection of records that had never been played. Some are sealed*, some have a store seal** and the rest are in mint condition.
* very few records outside the U.S. were ever shrink wrapped and it was only toward the end of the LP Era that this became common.
**Some record stores in Australia before being placed on their racks would attach a seal, either to the opening of the cover, or over the inner bag.
