Bach St John Passion Forster UK HMV ASD 526-8
Original English Cream and Gold shaded Dog Label\
Fritz Wunderlich, Lisa Otto, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and others with the St. Hedwigs Choir and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra conducted by Karl Forster, perform the Bach "St John Passion". A three record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 526-8). The record labels are cream with plum lettering, gold stereophonic and border, and a small shaded dog. The records, apart from a few minor scuffs, are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The box laminate has rubbed a little and there is other minor wear. A libretto is included.
