Bach Violin Sonatas & Partitas Victor Pikaisen Eurodisc
Victor Pikaisen plays the complete “Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin” by J.S. Bach. A three record set, this is a German stereo pressing on the Melodiya/Eurodisc Label (86195 XK). The records have a small group of scratches, one on side five cause a few crackles, and at the start of side six causing some low-level crackle for about a minute. Otherwise, the records are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The box is slightly grubby on the back and is otherwise in very good condition, as is the booklet.
