If you are purchasing an out of print/rare record, but do not have a turntable I can provide you with a CD copy. It is legal to make a copy of a record that you own to be used for your personal use only. You must purchase and own the item. Email me for more info.

I have several hundred LPs and other vinyl sitting around in all genres including Rock, Rap, Soul/R&B, punk/Alternative, and oddball items at any given time. I'm listing new things every week but if you would like to see a list of items that will be listed on ebay in the coming weeks let me know and I can give you that info.

1) Please do NOT use Ebay Instant Pay/Checkout. I will contact you via Email with the total.

2) PAYMENT: I will only accept Money orders, US Cash (sent via USPS at your own risk), PAYPAL or BidPay for payment on my auctions. International buyers can pay by US CASH in a Registered letter, PAYPAL or BidPay only. I will NOT accept personal checks or Cashiers/Bank drafts drawn from NON US banks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

3) PAYPAL INSTRUCTIONS: Please contact me for the PayPal address BEFORE paying, it is not the same as my ebay email. If you are planning on using a Credit or Debit Card thru PayPal or you have a Non-US account you must contact me BEFORE bidding for instructions. If you use a credit card or have a non US account and don't notify me before paying the payment will be declined

4) Please send payment so it gets to me by the 10th day following the end of the auction.

6) Please do not bid unless you plan on following through with the transaction. I will file Non Paying Bidder Reports and leave NEGATIVE feedback on you if you do not pay for you items. Your bid is a legally binding contract, so if you bid you are required to honor that bid. Only bid as much as you are willing to pay, do not submit outrageously high bids that you cannot honor. I do not have time to chase you around so if you can't make sure you do things in a timely matter please save both of us the trouble and do not bid.

7) I post POSITIVE Feedback as soon as I can, but sometimes it may take me a few days. I always do get it done and I hope you do the same for me as soon as you receive your items. If there is any problem with the item or you think it was not as described please email before flying off the handle, because I try to be fair and detailed in my listings so you will know what you are getting before you bid. I gaurentee anything that is NOT sold AS IS, so if there is a problem I would like to try and fix it before there are any hard feelings.

7) GRADING: I grade conservatively using the Goldmine standard. I had one half step that is noted by Parenthesis: (=). It denotes a grade that is not all the way to the next step. A record that is VG(+) looks cleaner than VG, but is not quite a full VG+. A VG(-) is not as beat up as a VG-, but not quite clean enough to be a VG. Grading is by sight ONLY, however I try to listen to many things and will include info if I have spun it or at least spot checked it. If an item looks particularly clean and I don’t mention how it plays then I’m grading by sight only. All items are guaranteed to be in the condition described, I try to grade conservatively on the Goldmine Standard.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Bad Brains- Pay to Cum/Stay close to me 7”. This is an original copy of the Punk Legends from NYC via Maryland. These things are pretty rare, this is one of the 2nd pressings on tan labels with red letters. It’s even got the Maryland address for their own BAD BRAINS record label. These 2nd pressings did not have the picture sleeve included, so many of the recent tan label/red letter copies with sleeves may not be legit (the sleeve). I am including an excellent color Xerox of front and back of sleeve and the super rare lyric insert. The last copy that had a real sleeve went for like $1000 and they don’t turn up often. The sleeve was originally printed with a very light image of the band on it, and if you were to see this color Xerox hanging on a wall at your local shop with a $500 price tag you would swear it was an original. This is the next best thing and will save you quite a few bucks. The A-side is the stuff of legend, the Bside is a bit more obscure and not often heard, a nice punk-reggae track influenced by the CLASH. This copy is VG(+). There is light general wear and a few very light surface spotting marks and light brush marks. They are not really scratches or scuffs, cannot be felt with a finger nail, and will not effect play. There are no big scuffs or deep gouges. This record has been cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record Vacuum, so much of the dirt, dust, and gunk packed into the bottom of the grooves that causes surface noise has been removed. The record plays perfectly. The Aside is absolutely flawless. There is NO noise whatsoever anywhere on it, nothing even on the silent lead in groove. The Bside is a bit quieter, being a more spacey reggae tune and it too is flawless. There are no pops or crackling audible and the only thing close to noise is some very light crackling on the lead out groove AFTER it has totally ended. You will never find a copy that plays any better because it is perfect. It does look like it has some wear due to the light surface marks, but it plays perfectly. There are no Loud pops, skips, locked grooves, etc and it plays very cleanly with little surface noise that is audible. It has none of the steady crackling surface noise that you would expect to hear on an old record. I grade very conservatively, but all of my past buyers have said that they were more than happy with the way my stuff has played. This record is nearly 25 years old and the prices are rising every year, so grab this one while you still have a chance.

SHIPPING:

S&H is $10 in the US. This includes the cost of the mailer, insurance, postage, etc, as well as the time spent cleaning the record with a Nitty Gritty Machine. This price is NOT negotiable. If you want to have it sent via Priority or with other services the price will be higher. Please do not complain that you were expecting something outside of what I've outlined above. Do NOT bid if you are unwilling to abide by these terms. Postage will be more if you live overseas from the Postage will have to be determined based on Destination. I can't give you the exact price until the item is totally packed up. Based on past experience I can give you an estimate on Charges to Europe (Far East rates are slightly higher for both): An LP is usually around $12-15 via Air (or about $6-8 via Surface) To Europe. CDs/7" are about $6-8 via Air. Do not Bid if you don't agree to pay the charges above. There may be further charges depending on payment method and/or other shipping options you may decide to choose.
