Description

Artist & Title: Bad Company ?– Run With The Pack

Rare MINT 1976 UK FIRST PRESSING 10-track vinyl LP, the third studio album from the rock super-group, featuring the hit tracks Silver, Blue & Gold and Live For The Music. Housed in a unique embossed silver card gatefold picture sleeve with the original black inner sleeve. A very nice play copy.
The record is in immaculate Mint condition and sounds as wonderful as ever, and the cover and inner sleeve are in Excellent/Near Mint condition with minimal rubbing and sharp corners and edges. A superb copy of this very outstanding blues-rock album!
Highly desirable for its A-2U/B-2U first pressing matrices and Mint condition vinyl, and increasingly difficult to find in good condition, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to add this superb rarity to your collection at an extremely advantageous price.

? 1976 Island Records Ltd.
Recorded in Grasse, France, September 1975 with the Stones Mobile Unit.
All songs published by Bad Company Co. Music except track B2 published by Carlin Music Corp.
Produced by BAD COMPANY
On the rear sleeve: Bugs Bunny © Warner Bros., Inc. ? 1976

Important Note: The sleeve tends to look grey in the pictures but it is really shiny silver. That is my reflection on the cover NOT a stain!
Underlining of text, the circle around the wolf pack and the Island logo are in embossed print. This is the nearest to Mint condition you will ever see this cover as it is notoriously sensitive to rubbing and scuffing.

This historic LP from Bad Company’s creative peak is hardly ever offered for sale in this collectable condition.

“Bad Company's third album is a butt kicker. Not a weak song to be had anywhere on here... “

This is the extremely rare real thing: a genuine Mint/Ex+ condition UK first pressing. The record is in Mint condition while the cover and inner sleeve fully merit an Excellent to Near Mint grading. All items are free from any major defects like scratches, tears, creases, stickers, writing, dog ears, stains or the like. See pics. All items are the genuine originals bought together by me in 1976 not reprints or replacements. The LP is the original UK 1976 stereo LP, which was only played once or twice on top-end audiophile equipment and lovingly cared for.

“There is track after track of classic rock here - tune into any rock radio station for an hour and the chances are that you will hear a track of this album.”

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS SUPERB ALBUM EVER OFFERED FOR SALE IN RECENT TIMES

Run With The Pack is Bad Company's third album. It was released in 1976.
Run With The Pack was recorded in France with The Rolling Stones Mobile Truck in September 1975 with engineer Ron Nevison and mixed in Los Angeles by Eddie Kramer. The album was the only original Bad Company album not to feature artwork from Hipgnosis as it featured artwork from Kosh instead.
The album peaked at No.5 on the Billboard's Pop Albums chart (North America) and was the band's first US Platinum certified album. It has sold to date three million copies in the US alone.
Their cover of the Coasters single "Young Blood" peaked at No.20. The album also spawned rock radio classics "Silver, Blue and Gold", "Live For the Music", and the title track. Although "Silver, Blue and Gold" remains one of the band's most popular compositions, the song was never released as a single.
The album was re-mastered and re-released in 1994. The original vinyl had a shiny, silver cover, but CD versions feature a simple, dull grey cover.

This may be your only ONCE IN A LIFETIME chance to own this rare piece of rock history in this condition.

“Probably also the FREE-est Bad Company album, very mature and intense.”

Run With The Pack would be my favourite Bad Company album. The first two albums coming very close to this one, but there is something more in Run With... it's more bluesy and the production definitely catches the deep soul feeling of each song.
Sure it doesn't contain a smash hit like the previous albums did, but the feel is just right and the smoothness of the voice, the instrumentation and the production makes it just incredibly profound and dangerous... a highway at night.
Probably also the most FREE-like Bad Company album, very mature and intense.

A fantastic time warp example of this rarity in amazing condition, a true investment grade item - get it while you can!

AND IT MUST SELL IN THIS ONCE ONLY AUCTION

You can read more about this album and Bad Company all over the web.

I pack my records professionally in stiff corrugated cruciform record boxes leaving the Vinyl (housed in anti-static bags) outside the Sleeve.
