INFO : An impressive copy of this very scarce debut recording from Brisbane 4 piece (mainly) punk outfit led by local legend Brentyn “Rollo” Rollason (vocals).

Bad Ronald (1986-89) were regarded as an insane ‘live’ band by their devoted following around town and released one other single ‘12,000 Miles’ later the same year before calling it a day. This very rare Ltd Edn EP captures the bands raw punk sound perfectly and will more than please any fan of the Brisbane later 80’s band scene.  

Shortly after their demise Rollo and bassist Scotty Melville put together “Blowhard”, a heavy metal / punk / outfit that garnered considerable reputation. In the following decade Blowhard issued an EP, a couple of 7”s, 2 x CD EP’s and 4 additional CD albums. Widely recognised as the towns ‘biggest punk rock party band for 30 years’ they also had the distinction (alongside The Saints and The Onyas) as the only Brisbane punk bands to tour overseas.

Following those halcyon days ‘Rollo’ was a larger than life driving force and promoter of the local music scene for as long as anyone can remember … sadly he passed in 2019 and his legacy remains unsurpassed on the local scene.

 

CONDITION: Note : All records (except where Mint) have been vacuum-machine cleaned and fully played on a quality system to determine an accurate grading.

This item will be safely packed and includes a new outer plastic sleeve.

 

VINYL :  VG+ easily. The odd light mark and heaps of gloss … looks and plays just great. No pops, no skips etc…. a terrific clean sound here. Plays with excellent dynamics & minimal noise.

Sleeve : Original Limited Edition picture cover in excellent+ condition. No writing  or marks. No splits. No edge-wear.
