Description
I specialize in lost, atmospheric, and hypnotic 45s. Grading is done conservatively, visually. Check unaltered sound clips. I currently have a number of cool soul, popcorn, Latin, rockabilly, garage, R&B, country, surf, blues, funk, psychedelic, sunshine pop, mod, lounge, exotica, heavy rock, modern soul, gospel, swamp pop, Cajun, Tejano, metal, townie rock, song poem, punk, power pop, and oddball and unclassifiable instrumental 45 obscurities up for grabs. I've also listed some really fantastic and scarce garage band 45s from Texas this week.

Two sides of otherwordly bad-trip psychedelia from Detroit, Michigan, circa 1967. Doom, obsessive outer limits-style guitar figures, strange strings, and gobs of echoplex and fuzztone on "This World (Is Closing In On Me)"; flipside "Waterfalls" is perhaps even stranger, its heart-rending vocal buried in a peculiar blend of echo, harmonium, chimes, and sound effects. Chris Carpenter is an alias for Detroit rocker Preston Carnes, who was supported in part here by former members of Lenny & the Thundertones.
Broadcast fans take note: "Waterfalls" was compiled by Trish Keenan and James Cargill on one of their now-legendary radio mixes, circa 2000.

GRADING: NM-/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G/F/Poor. I basically never grade anything NM-.

All other International (Europe/UK/Latin America/etc.) shipping is $14 for the first 2 45s, and $22 for 3 or more 45s.
