Mega Rare Bahia Funky Brazilian Jazz Fusion Indie Mar Revolto 


This is a very low numbers indie release from Mar Revolto a fantastic band from Bahia who mixed northeastern Brazil influences with international jazz fusion. The band also backed Caetano Veloso on a couple of his late 70s funkier albums.

PLEASE NOTE: I no longer own a record player and these gradings are VISUAL.


PLEASE NOTE: Brazilian vinyl from this era ALWAYS had pops and other small issues when playing even when factory sealed. 


In the early 90s I was a record dealer buying in Brazil and I would always keep the best condition copies of great albums for myself. Records in Brazil in those days were almost always trashed or ruined with sticky alcohol (supposedly to clean them). Any pristine examples I would hang on to and clean them back in the UK on a professional industrial grade record cleaner.
