Description

This great instrumental two-sider is one of the rarest releases by songwriter/guitarist Baker Knight, released on the small Hollywood-based Kick label. Note that the b-side is the same tune as the b-side of The Devil's Hand, which was released two years later on Chess--though I'm not sure if it's the same recording. The a-side, "Sister," seems to be his lost instro classic, as it is unavailable elsewhere. Though the record has surface marks, it plays beautifully from start to end with no clicks or disruptive noise. Listen below.
