Band Of Light ORIG OZ 45 The archer EX ’74 Warner 100006 La De Das X Prog Rock
Original OZ 45" released in 1974 on Warner Records. Cat: 100,006.Band of Light was an Australian heavy blues-style based rock band, which formed in October 1972 and disbanded in late 1974. Phil Key was the founding member, bringing with him Peter Roberts, also originally with The La De Das. Ian Rilen (bass) replaced Roberts after three gigs, with Norm Roue (slide guitarist) and Tony Buettel (drummer) joining to complete the lineup. The band gave Phil scope to develop his own songs (written with his wife Pam, under the pseudonym of Wheel), which expressed quasi-religious beliefs about racial equality, social justice, astrology, spiritual harmony and cosmic enlightenment.
Tracks : The archer - A Sagittarian rhapsody/ Silis, the sun. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. There is a light stamp on A-side label. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
