Rare Australian only 8 LP set released in 1963 on Popular Record Club. Cat: E223/ E226/ E227, E228, E229, E230, E231, E232. ALL ALBUMS ARE IN MONO. This stunning set featuring rare issues of some of Australia and the world’s top Rock N roll performers of the day including Buddy Holly, Dion, Lonnie Lee, Brenda Lee, Col Joye, Paul Anka, Johnny O’Keefe as well as a fantastic selection of rare Australian artists on the Everything’s swingin’ Brian Henderson album featuring stars from Bandstand album including Leeman, Joy Boys, Delltones, Crescents, Warren Williams, Patty Markham, Ray Melton, Johnny Devlin and more. Bandstand, was an Australian music, variety television show which screened from November 1958 to June 1972. It was produced at the studios of TCN-9 in Sydney and eventually became a national program as Nine Network expanded into other Australian cities in the early 1960s. It evolved from an earlier series, Accent on Youth (March–November 1958), which in turn followed on from TV Disc Jockey (June 1957–February 1958). The host of Bandstand was Brian Henderson, who was also a newsreader for TCN-9 from January 1957 until his retirement in November 2002. The series is closely associated with the group of performers who regularly appeared on the show, and became known as The Bandstand Family. This included Col Joye, Little Pattie, Warren Williams, Lucky Starr, Sandy Scott, Bryan Davies, Johnny Devlin, Laurel Lee, Judy Stone, Digby Richards, The Bee Gees, The Allen Brothers (the duo that included future solo star Peter Allen), Cathy Wayne and Olivia Newton-John.

There are some light spindle marks on all labels. All of the records are in fantastic shape with no scratches at all and only a few minor scuff marks on others. The Brian Henderson, Paul Anka & Col Joye records are in Near Mint condition. The others are all in Excellent condition. All covers have back flaps and show light ring wear. There are age marks on all covers. There are no seam splits or tears on any of the covers. Covers are all graded at VG+ condition. Hard cover red book that houses the vinyl has light marks and a few tiny tears around edges and is in VG++ condition. 

Payment is accepted by Paypal. Within Australia we also accept Direct deposit transfer and Australia Post Money Orders.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
