Very desirable Barbara Lynn Northern Soul - Philadelphia You Can't Buy My Love / That's What A Friend Will Do Jamie 1301 45rpm 1960s
Unusually for the time, Lynn was a female African American singer who both wrote most of her own songs and played a lead instrument. Soon Lynn was touring with such soul musicians as Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson,Dionne Warwick, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, James Brown, Al Green, Carla Thomas, Marvin Gaye, Ike and Tina Turner, the Temptations, and B.B. King. She appeared at the Apollo Theater, twice on American Bandstand, and had her song, "Oh Baby (We've Got A Good Thing Goin')" (1964) covered by the Rolling Stones on their album The Rolling Stones Now! (1965). She continued to record for the Jamie label until 1966 and had several more minor hits.[2] - from Wickipedia
Northern Soul is primarily popular and thus collected in England. Most valuable Northern Soul 45's did not sell well on the initial release. In reality some of the most valuable ones were printed in very small numbers.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT RECORDS OF THE SAME VISUAL GRADE MAY NOT SOUND THE SAME. SOME LABELS JUST SOUND BETTER THAN OTHERS.
I use the following grades: M - NM - E -VG - G
Mint (M) = Apparently un-played and showing no signs of wear.
Excellent (E) = Showing only slight wear and much of the original shine remains.
Very Good (VG) = Grooves may be somewhat discolored and/or evidence use. There may be surface scratches. Label may begin to show use. Still a clean and very acceptable copy.
Good (G) = There will be surface scratches and sometimes deeper scratches. However, these records will play through, without skips, and provide very acceptable play. There will possibly be some background scratch or hiss noises.
