Back in 1963, when I was in 8th grade, Baron Daemon (AKA: Mike Price)  made the scene as the Horror Host of the "Hollywood Special" late Saturday night horror/sci-fi B-movie of the week on WNYS-TV (Colorful Channel 9), out of Syracuse, NY.   The Baron was really "cool" to us young teenagers (how things have changed since then).  I, along with a classmate friend, each wrote the Baron a Fan letter.  The letters sent back to us from the Baron were typed and identical, except in my letter, I had inquired if he would be making a record.  The Baron replied that he thought he would be, & sure enough, soon after that the "Transylvania Twist", was on the air, with a song on the non-hit side which was called "Ghost Guitars".  The Baron would also turn up at a local televised teen "Dance Party", doing the Transylvania Twist" and he would carry off one of the teen girls at the conclusion of his song & dance.  The Baron ended up hosting a "Baron's Buddies"  kid's show weekday  afternoons, as mothers complained their little ones were staying up too late to see him on Saturday night.   The Baron also made many personal appearances, in costume, at local events. Even though he retired from doing "good news stories" on the station several years ago, I think he may still occasionally don his cape & makeup for special kids events.
The Baron would remain popular for some time back then, (he's even re-emerged in recent years hosting a (early) Saturday night horror movie for Halloween. I am the 70 year old ORIGINAL OWNER of this 45rpm record & I played it again for the first time in more than 35 years, a few weeks ago:

I am NOW INCLUDING THE ACTUAL PHOTO HE SENT ME (SIGNED IN "FULL SPECTRUM BLOOD" as the Baron said in his letter to me - which I no longer have).   
It's discolored around the edges from being carried around in my wallet, as a young teenager (LOL) and the actual photo does not have "COPY" on it..  
Record is in nice used condition.  I didn't notice any sounds resulting from any possible scratches when I listened to the record (but no guarantee is expressed or implied, it sounds good to me)..
