Description

Released in 1981 on Greensleeves GRED 62 this is a double A sided record from Barrington Levy. Both tracks produced by Linval Thompson backed by The Roots Radics and mixed at King Tubby's by Scientist. The record got to number 18 on The Echoes chart on 29/10/1981. Back in the early 80's every release on Greensleeves was an essential buy with so many great artists and producers and every rhythm was a spot on hard and heavy roots rhythm.  Two top rhythms here for Barrington to sing on and then Scientist to work his dub magic on.  The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ with just one small  surface mark on the First Love side.  The record comes in a poly inner sleeve and a Greensleeves cartoon outer sleeve.  The record plays very well with no pops or crackles or surface noise.  This record comes up for sale about once a year, so grab this one while you can.
