Description

An original 1st press of EVE on UK RCA from autumn 1965. Matrix 1B/1B. Stampers 1B/1B. Under the Buckingham sequence this copy comes from the very 1st stamper ever employed [sweet!]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover. There's an original Decca inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level with a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Very little background in reality. Perhaps a few crackles in one track per side [e.g. Remember]. And a couple of ticks as 'You were on Mind' closes out. Lovin' It!
Cover (Vg-) In acceptable condition - no better. A really nice front with laminate lift or creasing. The rear has tanned significantly. Relatively little edge wear. Spine 100% intact and sharp openings. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present.. No splits.
