   For sale is a vinyl record by Barry White titled "Barry White's Greatest Hits, originally released in 1975 by 20th Century Records with a special gate-fold presentation that has a gold foil embossed cover.  In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "T1", followed by the matrix numbers A-2/B-3, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Very Good Plus because of some corner blunts, edge rubs, stress cracks along the spine and the top seam and ring wear. The spine has color loss at the corners from blunts along with a dent in the gold foil. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, scuffs, smudges or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Near Mint Minus because of three quick pops on Side Two, but without any background noise, lock-ups or skips from start to finish. This is still one of the best copies of this record that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find another copy in this condition, especially a first pressing with the embossed, gold-foil cover. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.  I have a lot more R&B and Soul records, as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
