Description

This is a very nice copy of Classic Records reissue of Fritz Reiner’s recording of Bartok’s Music for Strings, Percussion, & Celesta and Hungarian Pictures on four single-sided 180g 45 rpm records.  The records have been cleaned with both a VPI record cleaner and treated with LAST record preservative and more recently with an Audio Desk ultra sonic record cleaner.  They play with very little surface noise.  There are no scratches on the records.  The covers are in new condition.  Only the first record is housed in the regular record jacket.  The other three disks are in a plain white jacket with a sticker which indicates which movements are on the record.  The sound and the music are fantastic.  I’m only selling it because I have several other copies and figure I can part with one of them.  I purchased this new when it was first issued by Classic Records.  The record, like all Classic reissues, is now out of print.  Multiple records can be combined in an order to save shipping costs.
