Description
Basking Sharks were a synthesiser band that formed in 1980. Members Adrian Todd, Ged McPhail and Martyn Eames toured extensively throughout the UK. They used a variety of home-made electronic instruments supplemented by second hand synths that had been customised to provide unique sounds. On stage they always played “live” without the use of backing tracks. Their stage act included a slide show, films and computer visuals synced into the stage performance. Their music merged power pop with European influences and experimentation. They produced a single, an EP and an LP, numerous videos, and live recordings
Please note that this album is signed by all three band members in blue biro - bought by my husband from the band at a gig in Mason Hall Birmingham University during the 83 - 84 academic year

I haven’t had the opportunity to test the record, no turntable any more, but would grade it visually at between GOOD and VERY GOOD - hopefully the photos will show the condition well
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
I will pack the record with hardboard – please see my feedback on packing quality for other albums sold and happy to combine postage; £3.50 for the first album, and then £1.00 each for other albums or 12" singles posted at the same time. Also happy to have customer collect from North Cardiff
