Quintetto Basso - Valdambrini  ' Bossa nova! '  RICORDI MRJ 8006 (ITALY) original black-green label with small European deep groove - rec. in Milano in December 1962 - rare original 1963 issue - thin laminated cover with flipback - on trail-off (dead wax) of both sides has stamped '22-1-63'

Side 1 :  Desafinado (Jobim-Mendonca) - Sondra (Basso) - Nuages (D.Reinhardt) - I should care (Stordhal-Cahn-Weston) - My little suede shoes (C.Parker) Side 2 :  Saudade da Bahia (Dorival-Caymmi) - Oscarnova (Valdambrini) - Midnight in Moscow (trad. arr. Valdambrini) - I'll remeber April (Ray-DePaul) - Barbados (C.Parker)
Visual grading : record is VG- (side1) and VG to VG+ (side 2) full lustre has light wear and few light unfeelable surface marks barely visible. Side 1 has an unfeelable but well visible scratch which does not affect the playing. Side 1 label is heavely soiled on top left side and has 2 tiny tears on bottom but tracks' titles are still well readable (see picture). The label of side 2 is clean with some light spindle wear
Playing grading: record is VG to VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound. Has a light occasional background noise and some light ticks mostly on side 1  
Cover grading : thin fully laminated cover with the flipback is VG- has wear to the corners, edges and to spine which has a tiny tear in the middle (not on the titles). Front has some light waves on right edge and has some wrinckles on bottom but it is still fairly acceptable. Back cover has light rubbing around the edges and some wrinkles on the lower part
All in all this it is a fairly nice copy a true Italian rare record!
