Led by Gianni Basso on saxophone and Oscar Valdambrini on trumpet, this sextet won the award of The Best Modern Jazz In Italy a contest organised and sponsored by Arden For Men in 1962 and hence the name of this album. The LP was released on RCA Victor in Italy. See the list of musicians, the track titles and the liner notes of the LP in the scan below. They do originals as well as covers of Benny Golson, Dave Brubeck and Jackie McLean.
