“BATMAN AND ROBIN” LP by Dan & Dale

This LP is Tifton 78002.

Although it is not printed on the cover or on the labels, this is the STEREO PRESSING according to its catalog number in GOLDMINE.

It was released 1966.
-
The cover and the labels state that the LP is from “The Sensational Guitars Of Dan & Dale”.

The Side A label printing states that the “Batman Theme” words and music is from the 20th Century Fox TV Series “Batman”.

The cover’s spine printing titles the LP “BATMAN” but the front cover and labels title the LP “BATMAN AND ROBIN”.

The A-Side has “BATMAN THEME” and the B-Side has “ROBIN’S THEME” (I didn’t know Robin even had a theme!)

The cover pictures Batman’s archenemies, The Joker and The Penguin and the classic “fighting contact” words from the TV series: “ZAP”, “POW” and “EEYOW”. A cut on the LP also includes The Riddler.

AND INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE that has the same image as the LP cover of only Batman and Robin without any text. It has a blank back. It has just a couple of light folds/light creases at the top left corner and some very light signs of handling at the top opening. There are NO splits.

The COVER is in VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION. There is some light to moderate wear on the corners at the top and bottom of the spine and some very light cracking on the spine and part of the bottom seam with NO paper loss. There are NO seam splits. A 3 to 4 ½ inch wide piece of shrink wrap still remains vertically on the center section of the front and rear of the cover.

The VINYL is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION (not far from Near Mint) with just a few VERY light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs (none “feel-able”).
Simply one of the nicest copies of this LP that I’ve seen in a long, long time!
FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (P for Poor, F for Fair, G for Good, G+ for Good Plus, VG- for Very Good Minus, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade this LP, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
