Description
This is part of a big auction full of rockabilly record from Checker, Decca, Imperial and several very small label. Great stuff that doesn't come up for sale often. Many of these are promos or have original sleeves and almost all all are in great shape.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Gar Bacon with Teacho Wiltshire Orchestra - Pucker Up (And Kiss Me) / Justice
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1958
Notes: Promo white label copy with Not For Sale verbiage. Classic twangy guitar sound on both sides with some interesting effects. Fantastic vocals as well. One of just a handful of records Bacon put out in the 1950's. The TW Orchestra was a big band that actually appeared on quite a few jazz and R&B records in the early to mid-50's.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a few tiny scattered hairlines. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Label is super-clean with no marks/tears/stickers. This is an overall really nice copy.
Keep an eye on my store. I will have an auction coming up featuring blues and R&B starting 1/22 and then an all jazz 7" auction featuring several Blue Notes and some rare EPs in February.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
