This is part of a big auction of 45's from several small 1950's label that I'm running this week. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for an all-rockabilly auction starting 9/25 and an all Los Angeles label auction (Modern/RPM/Imperial, etc.) in October

Release: Marie Knight w/ Teacho Wiltshire - I Thought I Told You Not To Tell Them / September Song

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1958

Notes: White label promo version of the only single Knight released on Baton and one of a few non-gospel tracks she recorded. Side A is a straight-up killer. Really rockin R&B track with amazing horn work.  A must hear! Side B is more of a bluesy, gospel-inspired ballad. 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just one tiny hairline no other noticeable scratches or scuffs, almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing, no tears and no scuffing.  See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.
