BAUHAUS - IN THE FLAT FIELD VINYL LP.

In The Flat Field, considered by many to be the first full-length goth record, was originally recorded in 1980 after the band had wrapped up a 30 date tour. The resulting album feels like it is going to explode out of the speakers at any moment. An incessant beat pounds throughout the record creating the feeling of pent-up energy as Murphy's vocals climb ever higher. They delve deep into the dark side of the human psyche, bringing to mind unsettling images of death and decay.
