Description

Extremely rare UK EMI/Harvest single sided test pressing from 1976 Be-Bop Deluxe recording Modern Music. Have never seen another copy for sale or found any info online. This came from the collection of Billboard UK division writer who moved to the States in the Eighties. He knew John Peel ...and had nice thing to say about him as I recall.

The acetate has only the faintest of hairlines when graded under strong lighting. The spindle hole label area has a little whiteness (see scans).
Recording plays with nice fidelity... Ortofon OM-20 on Yamaha P750...seems to be the same mix and duration as the lp. Can see a faint amount of whiteness on grooves when the disc is tilted at just the right angle.
The sleeve is Pyral standard from France and has the titles written in red grease pencil front and back. It has numerous creases and wear...but it's generic and should be no big deal.  Can smell the acetate aroma through the paper!!

Thanks for looking...and good luck
