Description
Here is everything I could glean about the record . First off consider that pictures of the cover ,and spine were taken with the shrink wrap on, the cover is perfect ,no seam splits , looks as close to new as imaginable . I’m putting up picture of inner blue sleeve . I swear it came out of the cover this way, as you can see it’s wrinkled , creased or whatever you want to call it . Im sure it had not been out of the cover in 55 years . I don’t know what Capitol was thinking, they put albums in covers by hand . I can assure you the inner sleeve is vibrant in color , and looks like new except for this crease which is in the same area on both sides . Pressed in Scranton ,PA in 1964. Catalog number ST 2110 ( STEREO ) which was far from the norm in 1964 . Matrix side one ST 1 2110 B5 followed by IAM triangle , and some icon I could not make out . I put it in the pictures , I assuming it’s the mastering engineer . Side two. ST 2110 2 B8 followed by IAM ( Scranton ) and the same icon as on side one in deadwax . I had to manipulate photo of this so you could see it , looks like a d7 ? Apparently the B matrix indicates a Scully Stereo Lathe to cut the album . This record is loaded with great songs . I have no idea how the stereo mix is . With that said it’s NOT Duophonic , if it was I wouldn’t be selling it . As mentioned ,cover is like new , I used an xacto knife to split the brittle shrink wrap , and noticed two things . There is a letter M on upper left of back cover ,and under that “ inspected by “ in a circle with no name in it . I have no idea what if any significance that may mean . The blue inner sleeve ( Peggy Lee etc. ) is exactly as it was taken out , no seam splits etc. just creased where they put record in the cover . I immediately put record in a new plastic sleeve , and put original blue inner inside cover . This is a NM cover , Record a strong EX closer to EX plus , only because of superficial hairlines from removing from inner sleeve ,and handling for photos . The vinyl is high gloss . Some may call the album NM but to be safe ,and honest EX+ is a good grade ,and better than any other “ EX+ album you’ll most likely find . It should ,and will play like a new record . I don’t know what it is on side two that has what looks like slight wear around spindle hole, this album had not been played . I looked at every angle to see if there was ANY trails ,and could find none . People take records ,and put them in shrink , hence one must be cautious . I know I’m safe in my grading of this record . In fact there was some wax not cut on the outer deadwax of record , that would imply it was not played , if a stylus caught that small piece of vinyl it would have caused havoc . Shipping in USA $3.25 . Rest of World $12.00 . No China ,Russia ,Middle East . I reuse mailers ,and records are well protected inside ,Record always outside of cover in a plastic or MoFi inner sleeve . I think everyone should reuse cardboard mailers ,it’s ecologically correct ,and saves buyer money .

That one that sold has a different inner sleeve for some reason . The one I’m selling has the blue inner sleeve . I just posted that sale as a frame of reference .
